Acts 4:12 – Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Hello readers, hope you’re having a good weekend. Today I will be talking about the “shot” you really need. I went to a freedom rally yesterday in Adelaide, which is my home city here in South Australia. I don’t like the city, and not keen on protesting either, but yet I went, because it is very needful where I live. Here in Australia, our government has made it “no jab, no job” in many sectors. I haven’t been personally affected by it yet due to the nature of my work, but my siblings and people I know have and all things being equal, I would eventually be out of a job too soon enough. All for making a perfectly lawful and reasonable choice that is mine to make.

In all this, it has been incredible seeing the lack of professing Christians standing for what’s right. This is a matter of righteousness, make no mistake. What’s going on is so wrong in my country. We legalized abortion based on “my body, my choice”, and the baby isn’t even your own body! But where did the my body, my choice go when it came to this? And you’re more of a threat to society if you are “unvaccinated” than if you are a transgender fruitcake these days. Truth surely has fallen in the street.

You can feel helpless and so disempowered, they’ve not just taken your choices away from you, they’ve taken your voice and power to oppose as well. Taking someone’s job when they have done no wrong is theft. Satan is a thief. And when you see wrong happening, and people suffering for what’s right, you want to do something about it. But what? I have been reading Job recently, and in Job 35, Elihu said to Job in all the oppressions that man oppresses man with “But none saith, Where is God my maker, who giveth songs in the night; Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven?”

Maybe God is letting all this happen to make us turn to him and trust him, and maybe we are still not doing that. How many people are saying where is God my maker? Did you know God can give you songs in your night? He can give you joy and light and hope even in the darkest hour of your life.

And I was mindful of a verse in the Bible, Jesus talking to Pilate, where he said this in John 18:36 “Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.” What a verse this is.  This tells me I need to pick the right cause, and I need to keep perspective. I am in this world but not of this world. This world is not my kingdom, my membership, my citizenship, my investment, my life, my hope is in the kingdom of God. Remember that people had wanted to make Jesus king, but that was not why he came, and he isn’t going to be elected king of this world, he is the King of another kingdom, which is the coming kingdom which will possess the kingdom of this world. That gives me perspective. I will always be disappointed in this world, and while I will compete for what’s right and be salt and light as Christ commanded, I ultimately look for and invest in the kingdom to come, “thy kingdom come”.

It is a fact that we as Christians live real lives here and now, and so standing up for what’s right is essential. If you’ve got children, you want them to grow up with the freedoms you knew. You want them to be able to work and have a family and be free and happy. And you have real life needs, and God knows that, and those are being seriously threatened by this covid madness. And that’s what it is, madness. Because it’s not scientific, it’s not logical, it’s not rational, it’s not even good for anyone’s health.

Our chief health officer doesn’t even know that the most basic ingredient to health is being happy. Even the Bible says that. Depriving people of sunlight and freedom and happiness is not good for anyone. And on top of that… taking their job away? You take their job away, you’re taking their very life away. In Deuteronomy, taking away a man’s means of production and feeding himself was the same as taking away his life. If you’re stealing someone’s job, you’re stealing their life also. If they can’t work to make money, how will they eat? Make no mistake, what is going on is evil.

But that’s all be introductory to what this blog is about! Today I want to talk about the shot you really need. And in this, I hope this will give you yet more evidence of which side of the vaccinate mandate issue you should be on, and where to stand and who and what to stand with. With all this mandating vaccine stuff, I want to point you to a universal need that everyone has… yet which God does not force you to take. Of course, I am talking about the universal need of man for salvation. Just think about this. God does not force you to be saved, which you really need. Yet our ungodly government is forcing a vaccine on you, which you really don’t need. Crazy huh.

If you’re a Christian, and you are pro mandates, or apathetic or indifferent to what’s going on, you really need to have a hard look at yourself… for the sake of Jesus Christ. Why are people who are not saved fighting harder for freedoms that you will benefit from than you? Why do people that not profess Christ have a greater moral compass and sense of duty and sacrifice than you, who is supposed to be a living sacrifice unto your God?

I want to point out the lunacy of what’s going on compared to the sanity that God’s word brings. Just think about salvation versus covid vaccines. People have government and pharmaceutical companies as their Lord and Saviour more than Christ these days. Government is their God, and the media is their Bible. And they get sermons every day. It kind of reminds me of the brainwashing attempt Babylon made on Daniel and his Hebrew friends. Many Hebrews were turned into little Babylonians, but Daniel and his three friends were not. Could you possibly be a Daniel in the time you live?

The universal need of man is salvation. Everyone needs the “shot” of salvation for the deadly condition of “sin”. Sin is a far worse disease, far more contagious, and poses far more threat than covid. And hell is the biggest threat to public health and safety that there is. If you are a Christian who is pro mandates, it just shows how far you have drifted from the pure doctrine of the Bible. Because these same Christians who are for mandates, will justify not talking about sin, hell, wrath, judgment and so on you know why? Because they don’t want to “force God” on anyone. They respect people’s right to choice when it comes to rejecting salvation and the truth of God’s word don’t they. Oh they go out of their way to accommodate the sinner in his sin.

If this is you, how about stop being a hypocrite? Where is your consistency? If covid is that bad and the danger so real and the vaccine that effective you are pro mandates… how about you obey God’s mandate from his word in your life? Tell people about the real shot they need maybe? Oh but you won’t. And these same Christians throw words like “selfish” around. How selfish can you be not warning people about hell and how not to go there? Yeah.

Jesus warned us to not judge that we be not judged because this kind of hypocrisy is what he was warning us of. Because we all do judge, and we must judge, but Jesus was talking about double standard hypocritical judging where you’re slamming others for being selfish who are selfless, while you are the selfish one. If you are so pro mandates, how about obey God’s mandate? He’s got plenty of mandates for the child of God. He has mandated to you to go and preach the gospel, to preach repentance, to preach on sin, righteousness and judgment. How are you going to with God’s mandates? Or do you only obey government mandates because ungodly government is really your God?

The amount of stuff I’ve seen justified in Christendom by Christians washing their hands of their responsibilities God has put on them based on not wanting to force Jesus on someone is incredible. I’ll tell you this, because the Bible tells you this. Hell is a far bigger threat than getting a virus, which, if you get it, you will recover from it and have natural immunity which is far better than an endless amount of jabs and boosters. And I want to point you to God, who, though he has the best thing ever for mankind, does not force you to believe on his Son. He does not force you to be forgiven and saved. Yes the command is to repent, and we are commanded to be saved, but God does let you refuse or choose.

Salvation is the “shot” you really need. Hell is the biggest threat to public health and safety and our society that there is. Have you had your shot? Are you saved? And guess what. Salvation has no adverse reactions, no regrets and no need for repeat doses. Salvation is free as well. The amount of taxpayer money going straight to massive USA pharmaceuticals is staggering. But God has given us the best gift, which has no catch, which comes with no lies and no betrayal, which he offers as a love gift for a true condition for which there is no other cure and a 0% survival rate. Not one unsaved person is going to avoid hell. That’s how lethal the condition of sin is. Compare that to 99.98% or whatever it is of people surviving covid.

My goodness we need to get our thinking straight. And God’s word is what will do it. I do hope you will consider what has been said, I do hope you’ll choose sanity at the feet of Jesus Christ rather than the insanity of rejecting him. For when you reject Christ, you reject the one person in existence whom you really need and who you must have. The Bible says “in him was life”… without him you have no life and no hope. What’s the way in this covid mayhem? Christ is still the way. How can we know the way? To which Jesus said “I am the way”. Jesus is still God people, he is still God and if you are saved, you’re in the kingdom that cannot be moved, in the eternal kingdom that will triumph over all and go forever.

If you are looking to get a mandatory shot, well the shot you really need is not a vaccine that doesn’t work from a company with a litany of integrity issues forced on you by a government that non stop lies to you. Oh no. You need salvation. That is the shot that will fix your heart and save you for all eternity. Man that’s a good deal. Don’t worry about the bad deal with the vaccines, take the good deal from the Lord God of heaven. The Bible says “we must be saved”. You and I must be saved. That is the true mandate, the mandate from God for you to be saved, and for Christians to call others to get saved.
