Hi, my name is Joseph Zadow. I am a 30 y/o Bible Blogger. I was new to blogging once! God’s word is the best thing that we can be given, and once we have it and know it for ourselves it is both a privilege and responsibility to bring it to others! We are blessed to be a blessing! I am a sinner (for sure!) saved by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ and I am a Lord Jesus Christ follower. He is faithful even though I rarely am to him. I believe the Bible is the word of God, and stake my life on it. My destination is heaven. As they say, I’m just a passin’ through this world… although most of the time it’s more like hangin’ by a thread in Jericho! I love playing sports – particularly cricket… I currently work on an orchard and a side hobby business of mine is growing vegetables etc – they are good for you! I love writing. Always happy to talk, so feel free to leave a comment. You can read more about me and my blog here – kjvbibletruth.com/about :)

Death To Self At Cherith

1 Kings 17:1 – And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word. We have already seen that Elijah at Cherith is a picture of…

Elijah At Cherith

1 Kings 17:2-7 – And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there. So he…

What Isaiah Saw

John 12:41 – These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him. In Isaiah 6, Isaiah saw the glory of God. We too can behold the glory of God today as God reveals himself to us through the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible says that no man hath seen the Father…

Our Mount Carmel

1 Kings 18:20 – So Ahab sent unto all the children of Israel, and gathered the prophets together unto mount Carmel. In the previous blog, I talked a bit about the story of Elijah on Mount Carmel. There is something so stirring and so valuable about this story – and it is more than just…

When The Fire Falls

1 Kings 18:38 – Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. I love Elijah. He is a prophet that came out of nowhere. He is first mentioned in the previous chapter,…

Permission To Sin?

Matthew 5:17 – Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. If you claim to be saved, and have Christ in you, how can his Spirit lead you into sin? He did not sin. He was sinless. He kept the law…

Do You See Heaven Opened?

1 John 1:51 – And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man. In a previous blog on Jacob’s ladder, this verse was discussed to show that Jesus is the ladder. He is our…

Behold Thy King Cometh!

Zechariah 9:9 – Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass. The Bible records the day that Jesus rode into Jerusalem in Matthew 21. It…
