The Climate Change You Should Be Worried About

2 Peter 3:10 – But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

2 Peter 3:13 – Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Luke 16:23 – And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

Luke 16:23 – And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

Hello readers, today we are going to be talking about the climate change you should be worried about. There has been growing hysteria about global warming, which has become “climate change” in recent years as people fear for the future of the planet and thus their future. Today we will see the blindness and stupidity really… that people are so worried about climate change, yet they don’t give a second’s thought to what is going to happen to them when they die.

Think about it, us humans live generally about 80 years, give or take, and nothing can be taken for granted, you can die in the womb, you can die as a child, you can die in your teens, you can die anytime as many people of all ages all around the world die every day. So that’s not long we’ve got here. Forever is so much longer than our brief sojourning here on planet earth. Our lives are like a vapor that just vanishes away.  The real issue is personal death, not death of the planet.

If people really cared about the planet they’d stop sinning, as disobedience to God has harmed the planet more than any burnt fossil fuel could. Sin is why the planet is in a mess. But nevertheless God has promised in Genesis 8:22 – While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. So we have that reassurance, so while once again humanity is in distress about a fictitious enemy… they aren’t even worried about the real climate change.

God is going to do away with this heaven and earth, it shall pass away the Bible says. So spending a lifetime attempting to save it … is a waste of your life. Your soul is the only thing that is going to go on, yet you neglect that… while saving something that is temporary? God has got a new heaven and new earth coming, it is his promise, and all those that are saved will experience that… forever. You think this sin cursed creation is good? We can’t imagine a perfect, sinless, uncorrupted new heaven and earth.

In Luke 16, Jesus talked about the real story of a man who went to hell. In hell he lift up his eyes… and he wanted a drop of water to cool his tongue. That’s some real personal climate change. When you die, you’ll be headed for a new climate, a climate where there is no rest from the torments of the flames. God doesn’t want you to go there, so he’s warned you every which way… we are all without excuse. So while we fret over a changing climate, we neglect the fact that this creation is going to be burnt up and replaced by a new one, and the real issue is in fact where we are going when we die. If you care about the future so much, why don’t you care about the future of your own soul?

Climate change is a myth and a scare tactic. In a way it’s just a statement of the obvious, the climate does change. They always scare the population with it, a few “science” guys say this and that and everyone gets scared. Sure, we should look after the environment in that we are custodians of God’s creation. But we shouldn’t worship. We weren’t made for it, it was made for us. And God is the Creator, we should be concerned with the Creator before we stupidly elevate creation over the one who spoke it into being… a creation that is but a fraction of it’s former glory, before it was uncorrupted, untainted, unruined by the scourge and curse of man’s sin. Romans 8:22 – For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

Why do you care about the climate getting hotter here on earth? Yet don’t care about the hot climes of hell that is your eternal future? You have a maximum of about 80 years here, but the sentence in hell and the lake of fire is eternal. Which one should you be getting worried about? Furthermore, the planet itself is fine, so you’re busying yourself with something that isn’t a real issue, as God has promised that the seasons will remain… but hell is REAL. You’re fretting about something that is not real, which even if real was only a short term problem for you, and you can’t even do anything about it anyway… yet you sleep like a baby while you are but a heartbeat from a real eternal existence in hell? Surely it’s time to wake up.

It doesn’t make sense. But then again, because people’s ears and eyes are closed and shut, and the spirit is dead, they won’t hear, because they cannot hear. Unless God opens the eyes and the ears, noone will see the sense, though they are beaten over the head with it. You can preach the gospel to everyone and anyone, but if God doesn’t move in their hearts, nothing will happen. When will people awaken to what the real issues are in life? When will they care for the real problem? If you love creation so much, wouldn’t you want to be in the new heaven and new earth? God has PROMISED it, and he cannot lie.

Satan doesn’t want you to believe. Neither does your flesh. We are so consumed with our flesh, which doesn’t know God, which is independent of God… and all our vain lives and pursuits. You see people committed and dedicated to combating climate change. They don’t understand the future, they don’t know the promise of God, they don’t realize climate change has always been a fear tactic… and climate change really is all about increasing governmental control, and probably one of those mechanisms by which there can be a centralization of power and a perceived “common enemy” that can finally help unify a world split since Babel but who’s wounds have been healing as the world once again unites really in something they can all agree upon… they all hate God and oppose Him.

All the rich man wanted was a drop of water to cool his tongue. You see, as you live and breathe, you are living on the grace of God, whether you attribute the goodness to him or not. But one day that water you took for granted is what you will crave. What can cool our tongue? A drop of water… hearing the gospel, reading our Bible, having the Holy Spirit move in our hearts, growing in grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. That cools and comforts and gives us rest doesn’t it. But one day, when you die, you won’t be able to be saved anymore. You’ll wish you had given a little more diligence to what you took for granted while you were alive in this life. In God we live and have our being, the reason why God doesn’t strike you dead is because he’s longsuffering, not because sin is ok. The longsuffering of God is salvation, anyone who is saved realizes the sheer grace and mercy of God that they have been living on since they were born, even when they didn’t know it, and simply marvel at God’s goodness and forbearance and how he bore us on eagle wings through the desert and wilderness of this life… even when we didn’t know Him, in fact when we hated Him. Oh for a drop of water to cool our tongue, you can get your tongue called today, just open your Bible and read the gracious words of the Lord, the great salvation he has called you to, and which you can freely partake of.

It’s craziness to care so much about this fictitious changing climate here, yet not care a second for where you spend your eternity, whose climate will be infinitely hotter than anything you will ever experience here… yet not realize that this heaven and earth will pass away one day, when God says so… because he has prepared a new heaven and new earth. So all round, the thinking is nonsensical, because everything outside of God’s word is nonsense. Sure, we should be responsible stewards of what God has given us, and show mercy to the beast, and appreciate what God has created and made for us… but we need to get our perspective right on all levels. Noah warned of a flood and prepared for it… that’s real climate change coming… yet noone cared for that climate change. They didn’t prepare for Noah’s flood, yet they are fretting over climate change today… it doesn’t add up. Everyone’s thinking is messed up, because they don’t care about God’s word or believe it, which would set them in order and in their place. The entrance of thy word giveth light. There is an actual real climate change coming one day, when God says it is, and just like the heaven and the earth on fire, so will the wicked burn as an oven and shall be like stubble, so we need to get saved while God’s grace is extended towards us, while we have breath to do so. Live for the new heaven and the new earth, which won’t be touched by the corruption of this world nor which will groan under the curse of man’s sin. And the climate of hell is what you need to avoid, and what you can avoid through the Lord Jesus Christ. He can save you, and he will save you today… but do you want it?

Hi, my name is Joseph Zadow. I am a 30 y/o Bible Blogger. I was new to blogging once! God’s word is the best thing that we can be given, and once we have it and know it for ourselves it is both a privilege and responsibility to bring it to others! We are blessed to be a blessing! I am a sinner (for sure!) saved by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ and I am a Lord Jesus Christ follower. He is faithful even though I rarely am to him. I believe the Bible is the word of God, and stake my life on it. My destination is heaven. As they say, I’m just a passin’ through this world… although most of the time it’s more like hangin’ by a thread in Jericho! I love playing sports – particularly cricket… I currently work on an orchard and a side hobby business of mine is growing vegetables etc – they are good for you! I love writing. Always happy to talk, so feel free to leave a comment. You can read more about me and my blog here – :)
