Genesis 3:8 – And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

Genesis 15:1 – After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

1 Samuel 15:10 – Then came the word of the LORD unto Samuel, saying,

Hey all, new blog today… and dealing with the word of God coming to you, and it is coming to you today. It’s not that you haven’t been exposed to truth or had an opportunity to lay hold on the truth, but that you do not receive it, you do not love it. You don’t want truth. Truth isn’t hidden, unattainable, it is very close, very near, to all people today. As Jesus said in his prayer to his Father before his betrayal, Thy word is truth. The truth of God’s word is what sanctifies us… a Christian who is not sanctified is a Christian not in the Word of God… we see today many Christians living just like the world… perhaps not even saved at all. True repentance produces true change. Many people today misunderstand the Holy Spirit and God’s word… Jesus said his words are spirit and life. The Holy Spirit is vital today, but massively misunderstood because people don’t actually read the Bible to find out about the witness and ministry of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit must move on your heart for you to be saved, the Holy Spirit enlightens us, regenerates us, births us again at salvation, brings deep conviction of sin, gives life to us, who were spiritually dead in trespasses, sins and lost in our wickedness, and alienated from God in our dark, numb hearts and minds. The Holy Spirit doesn’t speak of himself, he bears witness of Christ, what he hears he says. He brings to remembrance the Word of God, he teaches us, he gives life to the word, and his ministry is to convict the world of sin, of righteousness, of judgement. Terms that you don’t hear much today do you? We all love the idol Jesus, the “love” Jesus, the feel good Jesus, the popular Jesus that fills out big churches and who doesn’t make us uncomfortable, who isn’t Lord of our lives… but few love the true Lord Jesus Christ of the Bible, the Jesus that preached repentance, that preached on hell, that drove the money changers out of the temple, that rebuked the hypocrisy, the wickedness, the sin of the generation, that Jesus who was beaten till unrecognizable as a human being and spat upon and mocked as he took the fury of God’s wrath that we had coming to us upon himself, who was the Light, the true Light that shone in the darkness and the darkness comprehended it not.

People today are all about the “Spirit” but not about the “Word”. Because Spirit is a very vague and undefined term. There are many spirits in the world. 1 John 4:1 – Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. People like the “spirit” aspect, because they love the liberty, the freedom, and can excuse and justify themselves as there is little accountability and responsibility and submission. The Spirit is a copout today. The spirits guiding many “Christians today” are not the one Holy Spirit, but false spirits. We see lots of “Spirit”, but the missing “Word of God” in Christianity today. The Holy Spirit is a person… the Holy Spirit is not an “it”, but a “he”, and he is the Holy Ghost, the Comforter, the Spirit of truth… he is God, just as much as Jesus is God. God’s Word and the Holy Spirit are inseparable. People today claim they are listening to the Holy Spirit, but then their lives today oppose what’s clearly written in God’s word. Think about it, you claim to be Spirit filled, Spirit led, but your life is one of complete denial of the Scripture. Hey, is this a joke or what? The Holy Spirit always honors the Word of God… something doesn’t add up… sure people are being led around by spirits today… but not by the Holy Spirit. 1 Timothy 4:1 – Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils. What spirit is leading you around today? Spirits can be very close to the truth, there was a woman with a spirit of divination in Acts who followed Paul crying what seemed to be noble, good and truth… but she had an evil spirit. We test the spirits by the Word of God. The Word of God shows what’s what, what’s really going, it sheds light on the spiritual world – we cannot see the spiritual world, it is a dangerous world people, we need God’s word, which is the sword of the Spirit to operate in the spiritual realm, to see in the spiritual realm. God’s word reveals the spirits, and it reveals our hearts, it is a mirror, it is very exposing, it smashes and cuts through all the sham and bluster. That’s why the Word of God is unpopular today, because as the Bible says in Hebrews 4:12 – For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Right from the beginning we see the Word of God. John 1 – In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Jesus is the Word. He was there in the beginning. He is Creator God. Many people today do not understand that Jesus was as much in the Old Testament as he is in the New Testament. He created the world, he created all things, by him all things are and by him all things consist. He is the living Word of God. 1 John 1 – That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life. And God’s Word transcends ink on paper, just like Jesus is alive right now today, he isn’t dead and buried, he is God. God’s Word can come to you today, just where you are. You can be anywhere, doing anything, and suddenly bam, the Holy Spirit brings the Word of God to your mind and it shines a bright light in the darkness of our hearts. The fear of the Lord can fall just like that in our hearts. The fire can burn in us. It’s just like our lives transcend ink on paper. 2 Corinthians 3:2 – Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men. We say one thing, but who we truly are is read and known of all men. People can see pretty clearly through our facade.

The Word came to people back in the Old Testament, that same Word comes today to all men. And God has given us his Word written on paper, provided for us by faithful men of God. For the furtherance of the gospel, to give us something sure, concrete, WRITTEN DOWN. Just like the writing of the ten commandments, just like the writing of the law, God wants things written down and recorded. Records are good. 1 John 5:11-13 – And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. God wants us to KNOW things. God’s word is the one tangible, physical, sure thing we have. Ink on paper containing the testament of Jesus, the promises of God, his judgements, his will to us today. Stake your life on it, it will build your house upon the rock. Satan has relentlessly attacked the Word of God, he’s tried destroying it… but look… Acts 19:20 – So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed. So Satan tries new tricks, it’s the same old attack on God’s word, but now he tries “fixing” the words, providing “better, newer, easier to understand” words, and out comes all the new Bibles today, perversions of God’s word, who lead the masses down the garden path, who destroy the lamp unto your feet, who dim the light unto your path, corrupting the pure doctrines, precepts, judgements of the Bible, corrupting the image of the incorruptible God, distorting the image of Christ. And all this proves us… what is in our heart? God let’s this happen to sort the sheep from the goats.

And now we can move to a controversial verse in the Bible… although it’s not the least bit controversial. Nebuchadnezzar had the three Hebrew children thrown in the fire because they refused to bow to his golden image. Yet after they were thrown in, the fire had no power on them, they were alive and walking around in the fiery furnace, and the Bible says Nebuchadnezzar was astonished. And in Daniel 3:24,25 – Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. All other Bible versions change the last part of Daniel 3:25 to “a son of the gods”. This in and of itself should set off major alarm bells, because in changing “the Son of God” to “a son of the gods”, we see that the Lord Jesus Christ (who is as much in the Old as the New – his human birth was not the start of his existence – he is God, his human birth was his entry as God IN the flesh) is being denied here. And that’s what the new Bibles do, they deny the Lord Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is not behind these new versions. 1 John 2:22,23 – Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. The spirit of antichrist guides the “editing” and “revising” and “authorship” of the new Bibles, steer clear Christian. They contain traces of truth still, but they muddy the waters enormously, and seeing as we grow spiritually by reading and meditating upon and storing up and believing and obeying God’s word, Satan doesn’t want you to have the pure, perserverd word of God to build up your faith and life upon. Once Satan removes the authority of God’s word, the veracity of the written Word, your life is dead in the water. You will be a swordless Christian, the lamp will be out, you will be famished for lack of spiritual food, you’ll make poor choices, you’ll end up like Lot, not like Abraham. We see Christianity today completely separated from God’s word, all caught up in experiences, emotions, senses, believing and spouting garbage human philosophy, being tossed around, unsure of everything, living ambiguous lives, wasted warriors … the word of God is rare in churches today, just like in the Old Testament … 1 Samuel 3:1 – And the child Samuel ministered unto the LORD before Eli. And the word of the LORD was precious in those days; there was no open vision.

Now with regards to that verse… people say, but Nebuchadnezzar was a pagan godless king! He thought it was a son of the gods, this is no big deal! Because that’s how he had been brought up. This is such an unbelievably stupid statement. Nebuchadnezzar, like all the Israelites, like all the Gentiles, like everyone, everywhere are all created by Jesus Christ alike. He recognized his Creator, and so will you, and so do you. At judgement it won’t be… who are you? It will be where you bow the knee to the Lord Jesus Christ and acknowledge and confess him as Lord… and hopefully not just before you are cast forever into the lake of fire. Cast… because you are unwilling to go. The deception will be gone, the lusts of your life will have abandoned you… because as the Bible says in 1 John – The world passeth away and the lust thereof. So will you live your whole life according to your lusts… only for them to flee from you and your life to be revealed as the vanity and waste it is? Sow to the wind and reap the whirlwind? Read the Psalms, all creation praises God. Colossians says he is the firstborn of every creature. John says he has lighted every man that has come into the world. Read Romans, we all have God consciousness, we are all born with the knowledge of God, we all have a conscience. It doesn’t matter who and where you are, we all have the knowledge of God, of the truth. The Bible PROMISES that those that seek will find. God is a liar if you seek him and don’t find him. We all come from Adam, we are all human beings, we all need to be saved, we all have the opportunity. And you will recognize your Creator, just like Nebuchadnezzar did, just like a pygmy in the Congo does. The Word comes to everyone all over the world… today. Jesus is the Word, Jesus is Creator, Jesus is God. Stop worrying about others and worry about yourself first as well, you have these questions… but what have you done with truth when it’s come to you? God’s word is truth. Jesus said it is. Jesus is the truth. Yet you reject him?

The Word comes to people. Remember that Jesus is the Word of God. The Holy Spirit draws everyone, all over the world. Jesus is not without witness of himself… he is the righteous Judge of the earth. People are going where they belong. You’ll go to hell or heaven… and it won’t be because you didn’t know or that you lacked for opportunity. Colossians 1:23 – If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister. It is the same Holy Spirit too… that’s why all over the world, true Christians have fellowship because of that same common faith, the same common salvation, the same gospel, the same Jesus. However, just like Adam and Eve after they sinned, we like to hide ourselves when we hear the voice of God. You’ve heard the voice, but you’ve rejected it. You’ve hid yourself. Covered yourself up with those useless figs of vain self righteousness, excuses, justification, self sufficiency, pride, ego, intellect, reasoning. We, like them, hide in the trees of the garden. But we can’t hide ourselves forever. You may be hiding yourself today…. but at the end your spirit will return to God for judging… read Ecclesiastes 12:7 – Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. Humans never change. We are all wicked, vile sinners. We are so chock a block full of vanity, deception, pride… we fool ourselves, we OPPOSE ourselves… we destroy ourselves. May God, the Father of lights, shine his light in your heart today and you receive it. But will you soften to God, or harden to God? Some people hardened their hearts, like Pharaoh, some people softened and were broken, like Mary. We all deserve hell. And God loves you, but your sin has separated you, if you are not washed in the blood of Jesus, it doesn’t matter how much love he has, you will go to eternal damnation, because your sins must be paid. Justice is not voided because God loves you. And you can’t pay them yourself. Jesus blood alone purchased our freedom. John 3:19-21 – And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

I can’t get saved for anyone else. We are all truly alone. Don’t waste your life. The ultimate waste will you be going to hell… doesn’t matter how well you did in this short life… eternity is a long time. Weigh it up. Just be honest. Don’t harden yourself to God’s word when it comes, it is a terminal mistake to make. Hebrews 4:2 – For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. The Bible says in Hebrews 3:15 … To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts. And do it while it is called to day. Because now is the accepted time, today is the day of salvation. Time is running very short. The Word of God comes to you today, he comes today, and his Spirit moves upon the face of the deep. I pray that there will be a … Let there be light… in your heart today.
