Hi, my name is Joseph Zadow. I am a 33 y/o Bible Blogger from Adelaide, South Australia. God’s word is the best thing that we can be given, and once we have it and know it for ourselves it is both a privilege and responsibility to share it with others! We are blessed to be a blessing! I am a sinner (for sure!) saved by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ. And it’s Jesus Christ’s faith far more than my own! Because he is faithful. I believe the Bible is the word of God, and by God’s grace I anchor my soul to it. My destination is heaven. As they say, this world is not my home, I’m just a passin’ through… although most of the time I feel more like I’m hangin’ by a thread in Jericho! I love playing sports, I currently work on an orchard and one of my main hobbies/interests is growing vegetables. I love writing. I’m always happy to talk, so feel free to leave a comment on my blog or through email! My blog is inspired by Isaiah 2, and Isaiah’s vision of the last days when all nations will flow unto the Lord’s house, in a future time where everyone will love to hear God’s word and walk in light of Lord. And it is my hope that my blog will “strengthen the brethren” and “feed my sheep” as Jesus told Peter. Whether you visit once or regularly, I hope my blog is of some benefit to you on your journey of life! It’s a long journey, but with Christ you will make it to the other side. Because He First Loved Us

1 John 4:19 “We love him, because he first loved us.” Quite a simple verse isn’t it! And yet in it is a most profound of Biblical truths that can take a lifetime to only being to fully grasp. We love God, because he first loved us. Hopefully you love God, many say they do!…

How’s Your Heart Going?

Proverbs 4:23 “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” What does God want from you? Your heart. What does God want from me? My heart. God wants our heart on the personal level, because when he’s got that, everything else will follow as well. And that’s because…

We Need Spiritual Nourishment!

Genesis 47:12 “And Joseph nourished his father, and his brethren, and all his father’s household, with bread, according to their families.” The word “nourish” means “to feed and cause to grow” and “to support; to maintain by feeding”. “Nourish” and “nourishment” are absolutely crucial words in this world and also in Christianity. Every single person…

Let God Get The Ratios Right!

Exodus 30:25 “And thou shalt make it an oil of holy ointment, an ointment compound after the art of the apothecary: it shall be an holy anointing oil.” In Galatians 5:23, many new versions of the Bible change the word “temperance” to “self control”. If you read Galatians 5:23 and the surrounding verses for yourself,…

So You Like To Be In Control?

Genesis 32:6 “And the messengers returned to Jacob, saying, We came to thy brother Esau, and also he cometh to meet thee, and four hundred men with him.” Do you like to be in control? We all do… and we all want to be in control. Even as Christians, we would much rather things be…

For Those Who Are Under Siege

2 Kings 17:5 “Then the king of Assyria came up throughout all the land, and went up to Samaria, and besieged it three years.” Have you ever felt “under siege”? It’s not uncommon to feel under siege emotionally, psychologically and spiritually at various points in our life. Here in the book of 2 Kings, the…

Charity Seeketh Not Her Own

1 Corinthians 13:4 “Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,” 1 Corinthians 13:5 “Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;” These verses are taken from the great chapter on “charity” in the Bible. Charity is the…
