Hello, my name is Joseph Zadow, I am 30 years old from Adelaide, South Australia. I am a born again Christian, having received God’s free gift of salvation by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and the purpose of this blog is to write down what God is showing me as I read his Written Word and share with anyone who cares to read. I am a sinner, I need a Saviour, I have a Saviour. Thank you for taking the time to read my blog, it is intended to be a blessing to believers and also unbelievers as it is a blog on what the Bible says, the Bible which is the witness and testimony of Jesus Christ… and it is great and fearful to be able to share it with others. We read in Isaiah 2 that in the last days the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths… you can read it for yourself and the rest of it, it’s a blessed passage of a future time… and in the future, there will be a time of peace when the Lord returns and sets things right, and people will love to go to the house of God and tell each other about it and go together. This blog is meant to be like those people saying come and lets go to the house of God so he teaches us his ways and we walk in his paths. It is meant to point you to God’s word, not to myself. True unity and fellowship and love is found in Jesus Christ, his person and his word… and in the end times,  this earth will finally experience true peace and righteousness when the mountain of the Lord’s house is established.

I am not writing this blog because I am anyone special, I don’t receive special, private, exclusive revelations or interpretations from God, I simply read my Authorized King James Bible, believe what it says, and the Holy Spirit guides me into truth and understanding as he promises to – John 16:13. Interpretation belongs to God – Genesis 40:8. No prophecy of the Scripture is of any private interpretation – 2 Peter 1:20. You will find no extra-Biblical material or experiences on this blog. My salvation is not based on experience and feelings, it is based on the truth of God’s Word. My house is built upon the rock.

This is not a hate blog. I do not have a vendetta against anyone. True love is based on truth, true love seeks not its own, if I am giving you the truth from God’s Word, well then I truly love you more than someone who is just telling you what you want to hear. It is quite probable that people will be offended by some of the stuff I post on here. Jesus said in John 6:61 – Doth this offend you? Luke 7:23 – And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me. Matthew 20:15 – Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?. 1 Corinthians 1:18 – For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. If the truth offends you, well then you are just fulfilling what the Bible says in John 3:19,20 – And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

I do not have a secret agenda. All I believe is what the Bible says. I do not try putting a spin on it. I am not a member of a cult pushing some angle. I am not writing this blog for popularity’s sake. Even if one person gets saved from reading this blog, it will be worth it. For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost – Luke 19:10. All I will be writing about is what the Bible says. Which is what God says. God has spoken, and his words are recorded in the Bible. That’s what matters. What I say, what I think doesn’t matter. Jesus said in John 18:20 – I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing. Read your Bible, find out what God says for yourself. You can know for yourself if you want to. The Bible says we are without excuse – Romans 1:20. The Bible was written so that we could know. You can be saved and know it. You can live in the confidence and assurance of eternal life. True faith and hope isn’t blind, it is based on God’s Word. The Bible says God has magnified his word above his name – Psalm 138:2. If God’s Word isn’t enough for you, then there is nothing more and there is no hope for you.

I don’t claim to know everything. In fact I hardly know anything. I am just as fallible as anyone else. I am still learning myself. For now we see through a glass darkly, and then face to face – 1 Corinthians 13. I make every effort to make sure my posts are clear and God forbid I should cause someone to stumble or mislead anybody. When I make posts or anything else, I am not digging into my own reservoir of knowledge, intellect and understanding. In the Book of Job, Job answered the Lord and said, Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth. Job also said, Therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not. All I have to give you is God’s Word. I wouldn’t claim to have anything else of value to offer you.  What I do know is that God’s Word has the answers. God’s Word is final, absolute, perfect, preserved and eternal. This blog is about what the Bible says, and that is all I am interested in. The Bible is all I have to offer you. The Gospel is the power of God, man’s power, reasoning, intellect cannot deliver or save himself. All I am doing is holding forth the word of life – Philippians 2:16. I make no apologies for that.

I will continue to fill out this website as time permits and hopefully someone views it and gets saved as a result, or I build up the faith of a true believer further! This blog’s purpose is to lift up Jesus Christ, who said if he is lifted up, he will draw all men unto himself. Jesus Christ loves you, he died for you, as he did for me. And it’s not dead hope, but he is alive, risen from the dead, and all power is given unto him in heaven and in earth. I will try to keep my blog entries as short and as concise as possible although writing tends to beget writing! It’s great to hear from people!     • Yep, the Bible teaches sanctification by the Holy Spirit. Once we get saved by repenting of our sin and believing on the Lord Jesus Christ for forgiveness of our sin and newness of life… then our life is one of being sanctified. It’s an ongoing work of God in the life of the believer. The Holy Spirit who comes to live in us when we got saved, he created a new person in us, and now in our day to day life post repentance and faith… he works in our life, purging out sin, changing us, transforming us into the image of Christ, our thinking, our actions, our being changes as we are sanctified (set apart) unto Christ … its part of salvation.

  3. I read your article on when it is too late for someone to be saved… For a bit of context. I’ve known the truth for 8 years now, I had given my life to Christ but in the 8 years I came to doubt my salvation after living in sin for so long. In those 8 years I have willingly sinned so many times, I can’t even tell you how many. Now I find myself in a position where my heart is soooo cold. The love in my heart is almost non-existent. I don’t even know how to repent. From the videos that I’ve watched (sermons) and messages I have read online all points to the possibility that I have sinned my day of grace way and that God has shut the door for me. I don’t think the holy spirit is with me, if he ever was he must have certainly left me for good. Last night I asked God to show me some form of sign that it is indeed too late for me and am awaiting for that (if He even bothers tbh). My question for you is how can someone know if God has forever shut the door of salvation on them?

    • Hello Jonathan, thanks for the message. Believe it or not, and I don’t know your situation, but I know how you feel to feel cold on God. It does say in the Bible that we can get “past feeling” – Ephesians 4:19. It is a horrible thing to go numb on God, to be in darkness… in Exodus the darkness of one of the plagues was so dark, it could be felt. The thing to remember is that salvation is of the Lord, salvation itself is the gift of God to anyone who will take it, just as Jesus Christ said to the woman at the well. Furthermore, we cannot approach God, but we must be drawn first by God to himself. The Holy Spirit does that, and he ploughs up our hearts convicting of sin, shedding truth in our heart to either accept or reject. Most people reject. A reprobate person is someone who God no longer deals with, to be reprobate is to be “given over” by God to sin. Once God withdraws his grace from you, it’s panic stations. With Hophni and Phineas, the Bible says the sons didn’t hearken to their father… because the Lord would slay them. God was done with them, at the end of it, they couldn’t hear because God had withdrawn his grace for them to hear, and see what they were doing was wicked and to stop it. Salvation takes God, and it takes us, we have to respond, and our actions do matter. Our life matters, sin is a violation of God’s law, of his holiness, sin separates us from God, as it sounds like you have practically found out and as I have in my life. When we sin, our fellowship is broken with God, that’s why practically obeying God, walking in truth is vital. To have fellowship with God and with other believers, you must walk in the light, you must walk in truth, sin must be dealt with. A true salvation will stick, you say you gave your life to Christ. You can’t lose your salvation, so if you do, well it’s just because you were never saved to begin with. That’s why it is important to know why you came to Jesus Christ, what your salvation actually is. It’s why people need truth, they need the gospel truth… a real salvation is only one that was based on complete truth of God’s word. Things like repentance are missing from modern gospels and they lead to false conversions. People are Christians but not even actually saved, not even born again. The Bible says to see whether you are actually in the faith… to make your calling and election sure. You better be sure where you stand before God. And God gave us his word through the power of the Holy Spirit so we CAN know. You can know things, God wants you to know if you’re saved and right with him. God gave us his word so we could know ahead of time what the future holds, both personally and in the greater and broader scheme of things. Jesus’ name means “he shall save his people from their sins”. Jesus came to save us from our sin, if you came to him in repentance of sin then you came to him for the right reason. I doubt you need signs, what you need is to seek God in truth and on the basis of his truth. God knows if you mean it. Are you a hearer or a doer? Everyone hears, but a saved person takes action based on what they heard. But hearers, unsaved people, hear and move on, it never takes root in their life and changes their heart. The Bible extends invitation after invitation. Read the final chapter of Revelation, that is the final thing… Jesus says come… because he is coming back as King of kings and Lord of lords, as the Judge. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God, and he is worthy to be feared. It takes the Spirit of God to fear God even. But Jesus came to save sinners… if we weren’t sinners, he wouldn’t be required. The prodigal son got up to a whole lot of no good before he finally woke up. It isn’t a good idea to see his story and then live a life banking on the grace of God. Oh I can go and sin my whole life and it’ll all be sweet… no it won’t. Many people read examples in the Bible thinking well I can live how I want then turn to God when I feel like it. Lasciviousness is when you use the grace of God to sin, showing a lack of understanding of God’s grace. God’s grace is not a blank cheque past the laws and holiness of God, it doesn’t make your actions meaningless. God’s grace is what gives us the ability to do right, to NOT sin… it takes God’s grace for us to call upon the name of the Lord to begin with. If he doesn’t give you that grace, then you can’t… the flesh is weak, it takes the power of God to come to him, to pray, to live the Christian life. There is a time when it is too late, but I can’t say when that is. In all honesty, if you are serious, then it probably is not. It’s all about salvation, the Bible says God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. That IS the will of God for your life. God is very longsuffering, and in fact the Bible says in 2 Peter 3:15 … “that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation.” It’s true. In the book of Joel there was a rampaging army coming and yet they were implored to repent. There was still time to call on the Lord. Jonah went and warned Nineveh, and we don’t see any record that Jonah told them anything other than that certain destruction was coming. But the people of Nineveh, starting at the king, repented of their sin, they stopped their wickedness, they humbled themselves before God, and God saw it and stopped the coming judgement. So it looks like God is willing to change his mind toward a person that repents, salvation is a miracle, it is the complete reversal and rerouting of someones life, future and destiny. No wonder there is joy in heaven when one sinner repents, when one who is lost is found. The key is to act upon what you know, it sounds like you know the truth, God gave you the truth so that you could do something with it. If you have spurned it thus far, well it would be unwise to spurn it further, as to whom much is given, much is required. It’s not complex, it’s not complicated, it only takes setting your face toward God, and taking the step he puts in front in you in obedience and faith. I sincerely hope this answer helps

  4. Praise be to Jesus Christ “our” LORD” and Saviour..
    Hello Jonathan..I understand where you are coming from. I searched and searched but wasn’t finding. For me and my wife it took 22yrs till Jesus, through a couple of sound bible teachers finally opened our hearts. It’s an incomprehensible event. We were saved in the sense of believing that Jesus died for our sins; but the change of heart hadn’t happened. The Apostle Paul is the Apostle for everyone today. He actually puts it succinctly in Romans 2:16, 16:25 & 1timothy 1:11,2 timothy 2:8. We will be judged by Jesus according to Pauls gospel. Which is found in 1cor 15:1-4.
    If I may suggest, you Study to show yourself approved, the book of Romans, asking the Lord sincerely to open your understanding to His will, He will do it.
    After Romans is Corinthians. They were where you are. Saved but not living accordingly. Without the Spirit to guide them…

    Just happen to run across your blog, from the “Reader” because I also have a blog.
    Many things you shared I can agree with, however, on experience I am not quite sure I can understand where you are coming from on this point, because our whole experiential walk with the Lord teaches us what we have believed incorrectly, or suffered due to false teachings, and the Lord’s personal dealings with us.
    So I hope you could make this more clear for me to understand your statement “You will find no extra-Biblical material or experiences on this blog. My salvation is not based on experience and feelings, it is based on the truth of God’s Word. My house is built upon the rock.”
    Now I do understand what you mean by “extra-Biblical material”, when a babe in Christ, only a couple of months, I did get caught up in a “cultish like” fellowship, due to my lack of understanding the of Lord’s Word, and was taught “doctrine of demons”, after leaving the “cult” and after a few years of doubting my faith due to the teachings, the Lord in His mercy, brought me back to Himself and taught me His Ways, through the Holy Spirit.

    • Hello Cal, thank you for taking the time to comment.

      My statement firstly means my blog will draw on God’s word, and God’s word alone as the source of authority and truth. God’s word is the truth. Yes, we are living human beings living a real life in a real world and we all have experiences and feelings and emotions. However, they are not God. My salvation and walk with God isn’t based on how I feel, because I can doubt or feel pretty bad some days, I can also get into sin and out of fellowship with God… but I’m still saved. My salvation is based on the truth of his word. With all the ups and downs, my soul is anchored to the truth of his words, the sureness and infallibility of his promises. That’s how Abraham walked, and that’s how we as born again believers, the sons of Abraham, should walk. Abraham didn’t necessarily see, know, understand or anything… but he trusted God’s word and obeyed him… against all odds, even against hope he believed in hope. God never let him down, or did his word and his promises ever fail, fade, change or become any less sure.

      I can feel depressed or in despair or whatever, none of that changes the truth of God’s word, or the sureness of his promises to me. So many Christians are guided by their feelings and emotions, but they can fool us just like Isaac was fooled by “feeling” Jacob’s arms. My authority for life isn’t something that changes and goes in ups and downs and comes and goes like feelings and emotions, my authority comes from God’s word, which started it, and which will end it. You may not feel saved even, Satan may cast doubt, you may be like John the Baptist in prison “are you the one?”… but if you trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation from sin, we have the assurance of his word that we are in fact saved. Our salvation isn’t held in our feelings and emotions, but in the absolute surety of his word. His word is our evidence, just like his word was Abraham’s evidence. God’s word was enough for Abraham to trust in against all odds. God does not lie. So our guiding star for life isn’t how we feel or what emotions we have, but our guiding star (should be) his Word and the guiding of the Holy Spirit of God in perfect harmony and accordance with it.

      I do hope that makes sense. When we get saved, when we hear the gospel and believe on it, repenting of our sin and trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation and deliverance… God gives us his Holy Spirit. That Holy Spirit guides us to the truth, so he guides us to and in accordance to God’s word. You’ll never get deceived, fooled, duped or whatever if you stand by God’s word… and having done all, stand. Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free. God’s word frees us from the lies of this world, our flesh, even our heart and the devil. Even if you don’t get it, or feel it, or understand it… it’s worth believing and trusting his word, the gospel, in your own life… For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. Trust his word for salvation and for your day to day walk, it’s the only thing that will remain when this heaven and earth is all gone.

      • Sorry, I’ve been busy. Yes it does make sense. I know, I’ve been through many dealings with the Lord concerning “feeling”. Sometimes it was a night mare, but He brought me through it. It’s all about Faith, for when we are born of Him and by Him, it’s His Faith in God that is placed within our hearts and souls.
        Sometimes when we are newly born in the Lord, since we are babe’s to it, we do not have the spiritual maturity to recognize how people manipulate the truth, so one get’s caught up into a false understanding of God’s Word and our faith is side-tracked from the Narrow way. I know that is what happened to me some 43 yrs ago. But, through it all the LORD keeps His sheep, and He does lead them out and away from error, but it was the best experience to have, because it has taught me to lean upon the Lord and not any man or woman to assist me in Learning of Him.

      • Hello Cal, thanks for your comments, I did read your testimony. It’s great to hear God saved you from a life of sin, despair, hopelessness, helplessness. But they’re the kind of people who did believe in Jesus Christ when he walked the earth as a man. The self righteous people didn’t need a Saviour, it’s sinners who need a Saviour. When we get saved, something happens to us being called born again. I know you know about this but Jesus said in John 14:16,17 – And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. When we are saved, the Spirit of truth abides in us, and he guides us into the truth. That’s why if you are saved it is impossible for you not to come to the truth, to agree with it, to live in the light of it. How can you have the Spirit of truth yet believe and live a lie? You cannot. John 16:13 – Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. It sounds to me like God has kept his promise of guiding his own into the truth. And that truth is the word of God. The Holy Spirit always honors the word of God and reveals himself, and guides us, and leads us in perfect harmony with the word of God. God’s word is where we learn all about Jesus Christ, for his testimony is contained in his word, just as you have posted your testimony online. Just God’s testimony is even greater, for he cannot lie, there is no darkness in him, his word is the perfect representation of the perfect Lord God. Once again, your testimony is not of how great you were, but of how he is able to save them to the uttermost that come to God by Jesus Christ. It can feel like there’s noone else out there, but God is still in the salvation business today, and his business is our business when we get saved. Just as Jesus said… my Father worketh hitherto, and I work. I must be about my Father’s business. That’s where true fulfillment and purpose is, that’s where Jesus found his purpose and that’s where we will find ours. We were created for his pleasure and his glory, the apex of our existence is in being right with him and walking with him, just as Adam did before the doubt, the disobedience and the death. Jesus is the healer of the breach, and he can and does heal the breaches that sin has made, there is a whole book called Nehemiah about rebuilding walls. He can rebuild your life, and your testimony is that he is doing so. Keep trusting him and looking unto Jesus… who is both the author and finisher of our faith.       • Yes, I do agree, however we are taught that “if” a brother is in error we are to correct them in the spirit of meekness, patience and long-suffering, so that they may recover themselves from error.
        So that is why I was asking that if you find something that is not correct to please share, so that I may learn.
        Gal 6:1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
        Gal 6:2 Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
        Gal 6:3 For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
        Gal 6:4 But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
        Gal 6:5 For every man shall bear his own burden.
        Gal 6:6 Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.

        Jas 5:19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;
        Jas 5:20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

      • That’s fair enough Cal, I see where you’re coming from. I had a slightly different train of thought with my comment. The thing I was saying was that I don’t visit other people’s blogs to correct them. Correcting you or anyone else isn’t my calling, sharing God’s word and letting God’s word do the work is. It’s his business to correct, but yes he can and does use human vessels to do so. Nevertheless it’s not converting someone to my way, but to God’s way outlined in God’s word.

        What I had in mind was that correction is based on God’s word, not on me converting you to my own way which may also be in error, but rather to what God’s word says… seeing as it’s God’s word that does the correcting. 2 Timothy 3:16,17 – All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

        We also should be mindful of this principle…

        Matthew 7:3 – And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

        Matthew 7:4 – Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

        Matthew 7:5 – Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.

        God’s business is to correct us, and I’m reminded of Psalm 23. The Lord is my shepherd. If you are saved, he is your shepherd, and yes as previously stated, while he does use human vessels to minister truth, it is the Holy Spirit who is the fundamental teacher to a believer, the Holy Spirit teaches and leads and guides us in accordance and perfect harmony with God’s word. And in particular this verse in Psalm 23:4 which says “thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” Comfort is very much a Holy Spirit word, as he is the Comforter. One wonders how a rod and a staff could provide “comfort”. It seems nonsensical. But when you think about it it makes perfect sense. His authority and truth provide great comfort. And it is a comfort when God corrects us to make sure we are on the right path in life, to keep us from going astray, for our own good.

        We need his rod and staff because we go astray and get lost so readily and so easily. The rod and the staff are the shepherd’s instruments of authority and guidance and correction. And also of protection. There is protection and safety staying in his fold of truth. Proverbs says that the rod of correction is what drives foolishness from a child. If an earthly father is instructed to use the rod in correcting his child, how much more our heavenly Father. And we as children of God many times need that rod of correction from our heavenly Father, which, if you are his, will be present in your life.

      • Thank you for responding.
        When I am reading other’s people’s blogs, it is because I’m looking for “like minded” fellowship. I think you can agree that we should be doing so, when you read in the Lord’s word how Paul wrote how believer’s should be willing to look after one another and our brother’s needs, if there is a need. That being in the Body of Christ we are to look after the needs of one another. Not just in the word, but where there also maybe a temporal need, or prayer, support if they be alone, because the Lord’s Word does state that by sharing the word, we also encourage one another. That we are to love one another, as He has loved us.
        So many scriptures confirm this truth:
        1Th_3:12 And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you:
        1Th_4:9 But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.
        1Th_4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
        1Th_5:11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
        1Ti_5:21 I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.
        So when reading other’s blog, that is what I am looking for. So when I do read and come across teachings and a belief system is not of the Lord, I then will leave a comment regarding a false belief. And then once being rejected, I will then faithfully warn those that maybe babes in Christ to beware of their false teachings which will lead them off the truth.
        So I do not “seek” out where they may error so I can correct them, I am truly looking for brethren for fellowship. I do not know your situation, but I live alone, and due to the depth of apostasy that is prevalent where I live, I have not found a “local expression” where I may find like-minded believer’s.
        So that is where I am coming from. I have found amongst bloggers good truth’s, but when I have read further in what, and how they believe, who they support, what they read, then I shall approach with scripture’s their misconception’s, and warn them of those they support, and promote.
        Most of the time they shall not answer when probed, and totally cast me off. And unfollow me. All I am trying to do is find true believer’s so that I may fellowship as the Lord desire’s of us.
        Now regarding Matt 7: 3-5, I am very aware, of that, and do not pick out or judge against “personal sins or struggles”. Most who are false believer’s and are self-righteous, as the pharisees which are the ones these scriptures are talking about. We are also instructed that we are to Judge Righteous judgement concerning Doctrine, and actions. As you read further in Matt 7, we see how to distinguish those which have bad fruit and good fruit. For by their fruits we are able to know them. This chapter is teaching us how to distinguish between the true Believer’s and the False believer’s.
        I hope this gives you a deeper understanding from where I am coming from.
        Because though we may have all truth, but not charity, we have nothing. And that Charity means loving one another in Spirit and in truth, plus providing temporal needs as we are able.
        I long to find brethren, where they will as Paul wrote, “Greet one another with a “Holy Kiss” And follow as Paul wrote about charity in 1 Cor 13.

    My name is Valerie and I thank the Lord Jesus Christ for the gift of repentance (grief and godly sorrow). The Lord led me to this blog (my first blog and I am refreshed and happy to hear what God wants you to share with me and others. You are the second person I have heard give the biblical explanation of true repentance (not the work based explanation). Since this is my first time reading what God has given you, I want to take time to go through the blog. I have read all the comments and responses posted thus far.

    • Hello Valerie, thanks for commenting and glad you found this blog helpful. This blog has always been about sharing the gospel, God’s word … because his word is the truth. We all need the truth, and when we find it, it will set us free. Repentance is a gift of God and by the grace of God, it is the work of the Holy Spirit in the heart of man. Men and brethren, what shall we do? That’s what that mob who heard Peter’s sermon in Acts 2 said. What shall we do? Repentance is as confronting and commanding as that light that shone on Saul on the Damascus road, he never became Paul until his repentance and his life completely changed as he trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ. Repentance hits you like a freight train as God bears down on you and you have to do something about it, in the revealing and convicting light of God’s word of truth… you have do something with the truth. There’s no getting around or avoiding God’s light when it floods into our heart and soul. God certainly commanded Saul’s attention, and when the Holy Spirit, and there is no substitute for his work in our lives, when the Holy Spirit moves in our hearts, that’s when things happen.
