Ephesians 2:1 “And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;”

Ephesians 2:2 “Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:”

Ephesians 2:3 “Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.”

Colossians 1:13 “Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:””

Have you ever been told to “get with the programme” before? When someone says that to you, it’s because they want you to do what is expected of you to do, or think they way you are expected to think.

We live in a time where it is very easy for people to be “programmed”. And they are. And many people are far more programmed than they think or would like to think for that matter.

It’s no coincidence that TV programs are called “programs”. Because programs are designed to “program” you. You watch a program and it affects you and influences how you think and behave. Sidenote: that Satan is so crafty! It’s amazing how he wiggles in and gains control and power in our lives! “Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.”

With many programs, often the people who created that program are trying to program your thinking, beliefs, philosophy or worldview etc with an agenda which often barely hides below the surface value of the content that you’re consuming.

And many programs don’t even try to hide what they’re’ trying to program you to think or accept. For instance, you can barely even watch a game of football without them trying to program your politics and morality. In my school, everyone had to watch “An Inconvenient Truth”, a film which was designed to program the viewer with fear of global warming.

Then there are many modern tv programs which are used to “normalize” “destigmatize” and “humanize” lifestyles or behaviours that have traditionally been considered abhorrent, again “programming” you.  Look how successful they have been, instructions received!

In the computer world, a program is “a set of instructions in code that control the operations or functions of a computer”. So you’re not doing your own thing, you are under someone’s power and control (we know who that is!). Note how the program is written in code… and likewise, many people really don’t realize who and what is programming them, and how they are being programmed.

And what many people think and hold as truth in their lives is really just a function of their programming.  When I speak to some people I’m speaking to programming. I’m speaking to someone that’s lived on tv and radio programs for so many years that’s all I’m talking to. And it really is amazing how successful programming is. Take evolution for instance, it defies every bit of logic, rationality, common sense and science… and yet people sincerely believe it.

And why would someone choose to go to hell over going to heaven? Why would someone not care where they are going when they die? Why would someone reject free forgiveness of sins and eternal life of their own free will?

Because people have been programmed against Jesus Christ. As people go along in life in this world, they are programmed more and more against believing God’s word. Because Satan does not want you to be saved, and he is behind all the anti God and pro sin programming in this world.

And people are so programmed they just spit out the function that has been coded in to them over many years. And there’s just an automatic function response to reject the Bible, when their programming kicks in every time they are presented with the gospel to reject it.

We are in the “on air” age, and the prince of the power of the air is having a field day. You think you’re a free thinker, you think you are thinking for yourself? You think wrong. You’re under the power of Satan, and you think and speak and do according to him.

He’s anti God. And you’re anti God. He’s programmed it into you. And is that all your life is? One big anti God program? That’s the only function you can execute… oppositional to Jesus Christ. But there is no sense to be against Jesus Christ “They hated me without a cause”. Remember, a program doesn’t think for itself, it just does what it’s been told to do.

That’s why we give people the Bible, namely, the gospel of Jesus Christ, which is the one and only thing that cracks through the programming, it’s code interrupts the frequency of your programming and that’s why people can’t stand it. But just remember, Satan is programmed to destruction, so why join him where he’s going? He wants you in his program, how about break out? How about break out in the Lord Jesus Christ into the glorious light and liberty of God? It’s time for a break in transmission, it’s time to get out of the devil’s programme.
